SC Ferreira do Zêzere is continuing its preparations for the upcoming season and has secured another reinforcement. Rafael Silva, a 24-year-old player, has joined the team that finished 5th in the last regular phase of the Liga Placard.
After spending a season and a half in the Azores with Barbarense, the young Portuguese international is set to return to the top tier of national futsal, where he previously played for several years with Quinta dos Lombos.
This marks Ferreira do Zêzere’s ninth signing for the 2024/25 season, following the additions of André Galvão, Alan Gitahy, Djaelson, Francisco Oliveira, Diogo Silva, Pedro Martinho, Tiago Tavares, and Rúben Carrilho. The team’s preparations also involve several contract renewals and departures.
Rafael Silva was a standout player for Barbarense this season, scoring 13 goals in 24 games, and helped the team finish the regular phase as leaders of Series B, although they did not advance to the final phase for promotion.
